you would never guess it Birddog... we had the bottle... and oneputt had kindly kept it cool for us in his portable fridge... and.... we forgot to drink it....

either it has been sampled by dargan now... if so.. we need a good review... or we'll crack it at the next meet... :D

cheers

No, Still have it for the next inaugural meet which I guess will be at Bago's place where we can sample without corkage. Alternatively I could decant and send taste testers by mail? Come to think of it a photo of the offending article might be a good idea.

I have been very quiet on the forum lately due to work (apologies  ) but have a few shots from the meet and elsewhere to post on pixspot, maybe a cork photographic 'moment' would be a good idea. I also have this 1.4 50mm that I need to give a workout to.

Actually I just had an idea for a post that relates to that lens which I might put up. See you on another link MattK

I'll be visiting the folks in 3 weeks time on the Sunshine Coast. Only staying for a week but my dad has a D70 so I'm sure I'll drag him along to the places I go. If any of you guys are interested let me know.

Problem is the widest lens that I have is the kit lens. Just can't ante up yet for a dedicated WA.

18mm isn't too bad is it?

perhaps someone on the forums might have something wider that you could borrow or hire whilst away on holidays?

i'd loan you something, but the widest i have is 18mm also.

I'm going up on the 25th and getting back to Melbourne on the 31st. I plan to visit some of the parks and they have nice falls and wildlife (of course!). I was thinking of taking a drive to Bribie Island. And even thinking about going to Brisbane to some of the parks/reserves there.
