Sorry I couldn't make it guys.

However I bought (rather impulsively) a new toy on Saturday morning (Canon 24-105 F4 L IS) and I think I would have been pushing my luck to then say to my wife I was going off all afternoon to shoot portraits :)

Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes.

I just want to say thank you to everyone for a brilliant day yesterday !!!!!! Had an absolute blast - and apologies to everyone I offended ;)
Steve - please thank Anna & her friend for their fantastic efforts modelling for us (poor buggers), and thanks to Bernie for his fantastic tutoring !

Anyone who hasn't been along to one of the SEQ minimeets, make the effort - this is a great group of people !!!!

And for the record, I have posted THREE shitty duck shots :) http://www.dslrusers.net/viewtopic.php? ... 4653a91376 and boy are they shitty

and some other shots of the members

Hi again guys
Just wanted to say I had a great time on Saturday. Sorry we could not stay later, but we only arrived home just in time to go out for dinner. Anyway here are couple of shots from the afternoon.
