If anyone put an entry in to win a copy of PSCS2 at the Brisbane Photo & imaging show, well stop waiting for the phone call, as I was called on friday to say that a full copy of PSCS2 premium is on the way to me, should have said item during the week and will report, but from what I have seen there are a lot of new features that will make things a lot easier, batch processing in RAW is but one I will be having a close look at

good stuff bp...

another nice feature for the jpg'ers is to change exposure of an image... which has always been left to the raw shooters.

i find that the speed of the product is actually quicker than the older version also...

thanks guys....... I am looking forward to having a good play with CS2. I have down loaded as much information on CS2 as I could find on the net and the bridge looks very interesting along with the new camera raw. Lens correction when using wide angle or pano format will be very usefull as I have some shots that can use this treatment. Vanishing point looks good and and and and......... I will be sitting by my mail box waiting.....

Should have my upgrade in afew days. I have been playing with the tryout and the batch processing of RAW images is a nice feature.

Many thanks....... the win has come at a good time as I have just had my G5 iMac boosted to 1.5g of memory as like everyone I found PSCS quite memory hungry, looks like I will have to go and shoot some new pix's if only just to try the new raw converter. I am now off to camp by my mail box, would not want to miss the postman.

I've had CS2 for a couple of weeks now. It's quicker than the old CS and a lot more functional.

Just started to play with CS2 and it is a lot faster, ...... but I also have just received my Gretag Macbeth eye one profiler and screen calibrator, my screen is now very good and my prints from the 7600 are almost spot on, I think I can get them a bit better but a bit of a misson on flat matt stock, I am yet to profile the semi matt stock that I have. The prints from the 2100 I am still working on the profiles and yet to test with the updated software

Faster doesn't begin to describe it. I was quite a bit disappointed in PS CS, but have been very surprised by CS2, seems to be the same with Acrobat 6 versus Acrobat 7, have Adobe been on diet of late?

I haven't had a big chance to play with it fully yet but it is looking much better, will be interesting to see how long it takes to bring an edited NEF from NC into it.

On another note, I notice the MG ownership, have you been up to the Hillclimb facility the MG car club of QLD has? I've been up there for a few photo ops as I love motorsport. Here is the last event I went to up there (just around the corner from where I live).

Thanks for the info........ let me know when the next meet is on and I will try to come up...... I am an old car chaser from way back...... I even remember when cars raced at Warrick Farm in Western Sydney and took a few pixs at said track..........

I have been to the hill climb in Newcastle as a guest of MG and went to the after event party. At the time I had a MGF - glad that I don’t now - MG have gone big time and they are about to auction off the remaining MG’s in Australia :roll:

Ahhh ........ my favorite MG would be the TF..... a timeless classic........ If I loose a few kilos I will be able to fit behind the wheel of a TF....... MGB's are very affordable classics, and MGB parts are a bit like having a box of macano bits, as they are still made today in the UK and USA. I have had my MGB for a few years now and it is a lot of fun, I have only had the top on once on my way back from Coffs Harbor in a heavy downpour, but I have been a bit damp on many other times when close to home and not quick enough to get out of the rain...... I will shoot a few pix's of said car tomorrow if the weather is fine and post.....

The next event I have listed is on the 10th of July. The only thing is I doubt I will be there as our first child is due around then and I don't think I'll miss that one

But we'lll see what happens over the next few weeks.
