Event Photog needed - Sept 21st PM

Postby sheepie on Thu Aug 30, 2007 2:14 pm

Hi all - One of the factories at work celebrates 50 years of running this year. We're having a party/function on the 21st, and I've been asked if I know anyone who would like to photograph the event.

It's a bit embarrasing that the company isn't forking out good money to capture this event, but I can at least offer a good meal - and a chance to get some experience at this sort of thing if anyone is interested.

It's at a function room at the Imax complex in Darling Harbour on Friday night the 21st Sept.

Any takers ? (And I understand completely if no-one takes this "wonderful" opportunity up ;) )

Is parking included?

If i wasn't busy elsewhere that week, i'd maybe consider it. I photographed a gig there once before.

They asked me - but I'm going there with Mrs Sheepie, and I don't think that it's fair to leave her for most of the night while I take piccies. I told them I might be able to find someone, but didn't give them much hope.

I think it's crap that they're not prepared to get (pay) a real photog, but there ya go eh :x
