Fireworks Tweed Heads

Postby Analog6 on Sat Apr 19, 2008 7:44 am

The annual Tweed fireworks 'challenge' is coming up in our area over the next 3 Thursday nights. 3 different companies put on a timed display and they award a prize to the best one. Held at Jack Evans Boat Harbour near Twin Towns club.

I'll have to get my A into G and get down there. I've been up here 5 years and never gone! I was thinking of going to the end of the spit at Fingal and trying my luck.

Any southern Gold Coast/Tweed Coast local want to join me? Be nice to have company!

Bindii, I've PMd you.

Here's the entry from the Tweed Council community page.

It definitely was NOT on last Thursday, it was raining, and we can see the firewroks from our house (it's about 5 miles). Hopefully the rain will let up by Thursday!

Everyone, here is a map of where I intend to go and shoot from. Anyone who wants to make a party PM me or email to analog6@onthenet.com.au
