Yep, just posted my 2nd image :D

Funny thing is my wife took a great shoot of the kids today (much better than any of mine) while the camera was on total automatic (she doesn't even know how to play back the images!!!).

But I thought I better not cheat so I posted one of mine :D

So what do people think about those joining late?
They will not officaily complete the challene but still have the fun of getting feedback on thier images...

I'm also thinking about using the site or starting a new one to run a challenge site for the forum...

Like the ntf challenge that the nikon talk forums members have...

Would people be interested?

If I installed a new gallery the advantage would be that I could make it exclusive to D70users members so only they could vote and submit...

I'm ok with it... all in the name of fun.

Well since I thought up this one I guess I like the idea of challenges. For me challenges make me think differently and try different things with my camera, which in turn can only make me a better photographer.

Day 3 up...... it gets trickier now, I know you NSW types have a holiday tomorrow, but here in Melb, it is nose to the grindstone, minimising photographic opportunities somewhat.

Some indoor/still life/no life work could well be on the cards

:)

I have been trying to think of what type of images I will take once back to work...

There could be some long walks to a park nearby at lunch time.

I've had to go with a shot of the cactus in failing light - I have had marshmallow that was sharper than my effort!

I need a new strategy for the work days........

I am keeping the cat in reserve, I know the day is close when she will need to step up and be the subject de jour.

However, the weekend is almost upon us, will this see a surge of creativity borne of opportunity during the daylight hours?

Or just better lit crap.

We shall see.

But there were no real “jump out at me  ” images from them so I’ll be missing the 9th as well :( :?
