Child Portrait Workshop.

Postby Raskill on Sun Sep 11, 2011 8:11 pm

Hi folks,

I'm attending a Child Portrait Photography workshop in Sydney next weekend. There are a couple of vacancies left, so thought I'd let you all know.

From the instructors website:

Do you know your SLR well enough and take lots of shots, but your portraits leave you dissatisfied? Are you feeling like there is something you are missing?

· Learn techniques to take great portraits in available natural light.
· I will cover posing, backgrounds, camera settings, lenses, composition and lots of things that help with
portraits that you should know about such as compression, bokeh, depth of field, metering etc. Learn to use
a reflector not just for reflecting light.
· You will receive a Digital Workbook and Posing Guide to keep learning at home.
· Refreshments and Lunch are provided.
· Free parking at the hotel.
· 6 hours of learning, meeting other portrait enthusiasts and a mini photo shoot with child models.

Location: The Hills Lodge Grand Mercure, 1 Salisbury Road, Castle Hill

Good luck with it, please let us know how it goes, I have always wondered about attending a workshop and how useful it would be.

Please let us know how it goes!

Although you'd advise her to get a 'better' website. It seems to be on a free blogger site at the moment.
