I would have to find, and then scan, it. And our scanner's power supply is misbehaving.

Let me see what I can do.

I think that Mum has most of the photos at her place... to which maybe I should be thankful that they don't live together any more...

The Internet brings a whole new meaning to that whole "embarass your children" routine that parents so often do.

Pity it doesn't embarass me. :)

Well, not unless it ruins any chance of a career I might have.
I don't want any tabloids to come up with a photo op in the near future preaching "Leigh Stark is a big fat slob! Pictures inside!"... it'd be true, but that's not the point (the points don't matter).

But I think I have a copy of the one in question.

What's the amperage on the scanner's dead power supply? And it's 12v DC ?

That's beautiful. The colours are just slightly warm, and perfectly so IMHO.

Well done.

Checked the White balance

Thanks Gary,

I had a look at adjusting the white balance in PP and when I saw the result I just left it as it was.

It's great to have that facility, but I've found that as often as not, the original reesult looks just right.

Actually, I've often found that the contrast adjustments might yield some benefit, but again, I would say that what you've produced here needs nothing done to it in order to tell its story.

Strange, I'm seeing the initial reference to your links, but then they resolve .... to nothing.

Is anyone else having problems seeing these or is it just me?

At first I couldn't see the photos either but when I copied the URL which I got from the "properties" after right clicking on the red X and pasting it into the address in my browser, I could see the photos. Not only that, when I came back to this forum, the photos where visible here as well.
Strange!

Matt,

I've gone in and edited the messages to just leave them as links.

I don't know whatr the issue is, but under Netscape there was nothing at all, while under IE there was simply the unreachable link icon. Strange.

But by leaving them as straight links, at least we can more easily get to them.

While they're all good, I particularly love the shot of the lion; the colours and lack of lighting give it a wonderful feel.
