Also had a Cokin ND2 filter on the front, as it wasn't quite dark enough for the exposure length I wanted and I didn't want to stop any higher. I was lucky I had the filter on as it turned out, as I caught a couple of drops of rain - luckily these were either side of the main lightning, so could be cropped out.

Very happy with the result, might have to make a visit to someone with an A3+ printer :)

Sheepie, absolutely spot on. Looks great and easily justifies an A3 print, would look very striking in the house.

Wow, you can be proud of that one! As mentioned before, that would look awesome as a large framed print on the wall...

That's one of the best lightning shots I've seen for a while...
