G'day all,
After my affair with the Goshawk this morning (Doh!), I trundled off to "The Willows" in Meltone... The heritage council have relocated some original old houses etc to this location and it's now being looked-after... The first police station in the area is now a reception house! Would be a great place for a function... Seats 35, hmmm...

Anyway, shots came out a bit average I think, struggled with the glare a bit... Tried out "OldSkools Midtone enhancer" curve... Dunno about it yet...

Tips and advice is very welcomed, still lernin'...

Well mudder, you've certainly got an eye for finding these out of the way and unusual things to photograph.

As Ray says, the pano is very good.

Well done.... 8)

I really like the 'Old care-taker' and 'From the toolshed to the Barn'.

'From the verandah, across the well' almost worked for me, it's just a little too distracting looking towards the gazebo / monument with the house in the background.

I like them all though, very good eye in my opinion. Also a bit easy on the anatomy after the Goshawk adventures too I dare say.

Cheers

Hi Mudder

I viewed your recent pics earlier today whilst I was working on the PixSpot site. I am always amazed at the quality of your images. I really like your panoramic shot - good work. :-)

Good moaning all,
I think I'm getting hooked on these pano's... I think I was rattled after the affair with the Goshawk though, took these pics at an ISO of 640 after taking a couple of indoor shots... Doh!

Hmmm, were will I play today....?

Cheers all,
Mudder

Panos are addictive aren't they. I just love the look of a well done pano.

Can't wait to see the next round of photos...

G'day, yep I always shoot "in the" raw ;-) I'm still in the learning stage at the point of capture, so I find it allows for more post process jiggery-poke, especially WB and exposure... Also I assume it is capable of producing higher quality prints if I take something I like and want to print it out in a large size. I've printed some shots up to 30" (Ummm, what's that in metric? Errr, 30*25.bit = 750mm odd)... A 30" waterfall shot holds pride of place over the fireplace :-)

G'day, I must admit, the sight of old gnarled trees gives me a feeling of history and malencholy (Spelling?)... Thought these guys would have been mates for a long time...

Cheers,
Mudder PS. Edited as I stuffed up pasting the quotes...
