OOps forgot to add My Rusian Sukhoi Aerobatic scale model plane, oh and the other planes in the first post that are flying are models as well.
Here is a mate of mine holding the tailplane up while i took the pic.
This plane is a beauty and i love aerobatics and flying in patern, unfinished and is powered by a 30cc methanol running engine.

BBJ

Thanks for posting these pics. It got my mind racing again. Correct me if I am wrong but I think pic 2 is either the Mustang or the Warhawk. Pic 4 looks like the Dauntless and Pic 3 a Beaufighter.

Many, many years ago I was into building planes (normally German) but then went onto building warships and finally onto tanks.

Thanks for sharing

Chris

Hi Chris, that 2nd pic is a P40 Warhawk, and the other is a Harvard/Texan AT6 and yes the Bristol beaufighter, My mate still has this plane in his shed/hangar. He had a number of big model aircraft 1/4 scale super chipmonk and spitfire with 80cc motors. Digital has come a long way over the last few years and these are all grat fun.

John - after doing my usual look at the member list I noticed a new member from the UK, Andy Mc, has a web site
http://www.planemad.co.uk/

The site is not fully functional yet but going on the title planemad hopefully Andy will have some pics up soon.

Andy Mc if you see this thread gives us a taste of your pics - please

Hi John,
It's a shame you can't be at the D70 picnic next Saturday as there is a GREAR spot that guys (and some girls) with remote control gliders and planes use - i can sit there and watch them for ages! Maybe next time? :)

Geoff.
