I thought I'd post a few shots from the chopper as we came in. They give you a good perspective of where we walked today.

I am sure the oldies in the last one didn't realise they were being watched!

Stubbsy, thanks for organising this and for your generous hospitality!

Some cool shots there - sorry we missed you today, had to get back to Sydney unfortunately ;)

There seems to be a familiar head in that internal shot!

Thaddeus
Fabulous shots! That small group of folk in image number one are all D70 forum members including myself. Would appreciate a hi-res copy of it. Your front seat passenger in the second last shot....he looks vaguely familier...even from the back. Hope you had a great day!

Here's the cropped version (not too great, sorry, its was on the edge of the Tokina 12-24 through perspex)

And here's Adrian taking the shot!

Yes, the other front seat passenger was Stubbsy. I couldn't let him come out and pick me up and not give him a fly!

Russell

A great set of shots. And thanks for the brief, but awesome flight. I even have a few decent pics. It was great to catch up with you.

Thaddeus, great shots, I was waiting for the airborne shots to come up. Did anyone else get some aerial shots?

Poon,
I used to play cards with our crewmembers when cruising.
To control an aircraft is totally difference with driving a car.

I did Russell. Been a bit slow with the PP. I'm off work for the next week recovering from having 2 widsom teeth out yesterday so will get to them ASAP and add them here.

Does that mean you're less wise now?

...so there'll be less wise cracks around ;)

There were no cracks in the 2 teeth removed, so the wise cracks remain. And here are the pics (to save on image downloads, some are links only):

Peter,
I thought you followed your doctor instruction:
- no driving within 24 hrs.
- No drinking within 24 hrs
- No Computer within 24hrs.
- No talk within 24hrs
- No sex within 24hrs
And the list goes on..........................................

Glad to hear that you're still survived under the hand of the "butcher".

My neighbour's girl sends her best regards to you.

And you missed out the test drive on the Stabicraft 609HT.

Great shots, Stubbsy! Looking at the last one, I didn't realise there was such a perfect helipad right in the middle of the gardens - I should have landed there!

No driving, no decision making and no alcohol. Computers, talking and sex were allowed. Shame about no access to the latter. :( Since my car is in for repair until Wednesday driving was out of the question so all I had to do was stay away from the wine cellar.

I would have thought that if you have access to a computer, then access to the latter would also be easy :D
