Capture NX

Postby scoobydoo on Sun Sep 21, 2008 1:47 pm

Question for the Nikon Capture NX users out there, just wondering what the difference between the "Color Booster" adjustment and the "Saturation" adjustment? Beside the protect skin colour checkbox, they both seem to bring out the colours in the photo. Is there any reason I should be using one or the other?

According to Jason Odell's NX2 ebook, it creates a "vibrance" effect which differs from the saturation adjustment, and should be used to increase saturation when you want to protect skin tones.

Cheers
What's another word for "thesaurus"?
