PotW 10 June 2008

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

PotW 10 June 2008

The PotW this week is from robw25 in Whyalla.

Rob has converted his D70 to IR, and the resulting shots are very impressive, particularly
if you like IR - which I do.

There are three shots in Rob's thread (see it here), and I would usually be drawn to the
wide angle shot (#3), but I particularly like this one.

Everything works for me. Great work Rob and a very worthy PotW.

excellent choice of setting for this style Rob - the Torrens has never looked so good!

Does the IR work as well in the red dust of Whyalla????
