POTW 17 June 2008

Postby stubbsy on Tue Jun 17, 2008 7:01 pm

Time for me to choose picture of the week again. It's always a bloody hard decison and, as usual, we have some fantastic work on display here by some very talented people. For me it was a tight choice, but eventually I settled on the image below from Rel aka blacknstormy. While she normally posts interesting pics of all kinds of critters she occasionally comes up with a gem like the image below. I'd have liked to have seen a bigger version since it appears to have fantastic tonal detail, but even at this size it's a great example of photographic minimalism. The image conveys a wonderful sense of pristine nature at its tranquil best. Congratulations Rel on this wonderful shot.

Magic shot Rel, though I still haven't found the bug or critter in it yet! PS I really like the second shot in that post too.

Magical shot Rel, I missed it first time around.
This is an image that you can just gaze at, and gaze at, and keeping gazing.
Congrats Rel, and great choice Peter.

Beautiful image Rel, congratulations. Seeing the potential, and then realising it is quite a skill.

Great choice Peter.
