Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

Stunning simplicity.

That, I think, sums up the beauty that we see in a simple sunflower.

And stunning simplicity is evident in this lovely image of a sunflower, as presented by member Ant.

Wow... and thank you. This is, to date, one of my favourite images but I didn't think it compared to the many excellent images I see on this site every week. I also really have to thank Patrick (Reschsmooth) for his comments on my first attempt as this encouraged me to get out and try again.
