POTW 16 October 2012

I am very thankful that I didn't have Gerry's mammoth task last week, there weren't as many images this week (which is not a good thing, but it does make my life easier), but there were a few that really stood out for me.

A close second was Geoff with this image, nice work using limited DOF to really make your subject pop.

However, this late entry from Rodney wins by a hair. Difficult conditions, and a stunning capture full of motion...I can almost hear the water and taste the salt.

Congrats Rodney!

I've gotta say I would have picked Geoff's over Rodney's but they're both great captures.
Well done.

Nice Choice Cameron and great shot Rodney - this fisherman is a absolute star he got snapped from every angle!
gerry's photography journey
No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.

That he did (from about half a dozen photogs). There were multiple fisherman as well tho (at least three just within a few metres of where I'm standing)

Both are fine images and I'd have had difficulty choosing between them as well.

This is my 3rd post commentating on the fishermen images. This one is a classic. Congrats on POTW.
