POTW 24th September 2013

Postby sirhc55 on Tue Sep 24, 2013 6:07 pm

There were some great pics posted in the past week especially from Rooz (Chris). There was another idiot named Chris (sirhc55) who posted a few but they were crap :rotfl2:

After perusing the offerings I kept going back to one image that captivated me. The angle of the shot, the moodiness, the post pic treatment all went to capture my imagination and give remorhaz the POTW. Well done.

Agree with what is written here, especially the bit about Chris's photos...:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

But seriously, this image is compelling in it's moodiness, for want of better English. Well done and congrats (again) on chooser and recipient.

I forgot to say that these series of photos remind me very much of Man Rays work

Good composition and I even like it,
but still is a bit dark on my screen.

lmao...hardly
Rodney's whole project is captivating. A great choice and I would have picked the exact same shot.

I can picture this image printed at about 1 metre x 1 metre on high quality hahnemuhle 100% cotton rag matte paper - expertly framed - pure blacks - hangin on a white gallery wall with a small red sticker on it. Good choice!

Thanks Chris and everyone for your kind words.

I'm still refining the processing for this project (I now have four images :)) but I believe I've settled on the square crop. My current processing is more black than the platinum/silver of this.

Top choice Chris and sweet image Rodney
gerry's photography journey
