POTW 6th May 2014

Hey hey folks, its that time of the week again for another fun filled quality POTW brought to you by yours truly ;)

This weeks selection of images had me tossing up between the Matt-man and the MrDarcy-man who has recently graced us with his prestigious self again (which I am very glad of, welcome back to the fold..one of us..one of us... )

I really liked MattK's last image from this thread,
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=44347
Westend, it has a great feel to it and the vertical composition strikes a chord with me.

Ozimax's image of his grand-son, the first in this thread viewtopic.php?f=18&t=44341 was also a contender - the classic framing of the little feet is always a great way to bring those have-been parents back to the moment and those with similar aged kids to sign a sense of commonality :)

But, there can one be one winner and its Gregs recent shot from his new hide, aka bed room, which has it all, a bug, a bird and beautiful bokeh (which i would have darkened if it was mine ;) )

Well done greg, great shot.

No amount of processing will fix bad composition - trust me i have tried.

Great shot Greg and well chosen Gerry.

The only way I could get a shot like this is to nail the buggers feet to the branch so I am truly impressed as there are no nails in view.

Great choice, great shot. Is this image the first national winner of the BBBB award for alliteration in photography? :)

Thank you all.
I recommend the hide. Excellent for birding of all kinds.

And yes I tried a darker Bokeh. Lost the bird.

Is birding a euphemism for flighty dogging? :cough:
