POTW 1-07-2014

I missed this wonderful image by Pirostitch when it was posted but I'm glad I caught up with it today. It has beautiful tones and a sweeping composition that nails it all together. The more I look at it the more I like it. This image would not be out of place at a MAGNUM exhibition at the Museum of modern Art, New York. It just has that edgy quality that is so rare to find in todays picturres. It also demonstrates the importance of timing in photography. Nice one!

great choice for POTW. It really does show the importance of timing, half a second earlier or later just wouldn't have worked....well done and great choice.
