POTW-4-03-2015

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

POTW-4-03-2015

An easy one to pick this week. This image by Bigsarge7 ticks all the right boxes. It has loads of sumptuous colour, strong shapes and a simple composition. Nicely done!

Sheesh, Wowsers. I certainly did not expect to win POTW and certainly had no expectations of such amazing compliments on the image. I really appreciate it. I've recently gone back to to enjoying photography and trying new things out, and well its paying off. Here's hoping the prints i've ordered from pixel perfect will replicate the photograph. I appreciate everyones kind comments.
