Very nice.........for a Canon.

Seriously, the first two images really indicate the strength of the lens!

Excellent, enjoy the lens, I have no experience with this lens (in fact, I have almost no experience with most things.... :) ) but you will enjoy low light photography I am sure.

Is that your lounge room? :) :) :)

Looks like you have landed a very nice lens. With lenses as good as that (and versatile too) and with cameras as good as the 5D, it's tempting to sell all my Nikon gear and join you over there.

(edit: Just had another look at the image and I've got to say the Bokeh, is gorgeous. Check out the lights in the background in image two....Sweet.)

I'm craving this lens.. but it doesn't seem very popular at the moment. There's only one seller on ebay with it.

Does that mean that it is not popular, or that it is very popular?

The word I have is that lenses are in very short supply in HKG at the moment, and if there's a shortage in supply, that would possibly lead to an absence of the items from eBay.

Some sweet shots there.

I have to agree. I love this lens. Bought it to use for a wedding in a dark church and for reception. I love it!!

Perhaps there is a worldwide shortage. I haven't seen very many Aussie sellers with it either.
I know what you mean about [some?] lenses being short supply in HK. I was there in February and the 17-55 IS was out of stock pretty much everywhere. I went to over 10 different stores who told me they had no stock. It must be all us Aussies going there and buying them up!

Very nice quality, I've tried the 24L but this is sharper me thinks.

Congrats!! This is an awesome lens. Enjoy!

I was under the impression it is relatively easy to source these days, at least from the US. When I bought mine these were very rarely available on B+H, they seem to be available all the time now.
