Is it possible to get a converter for this to suit the EF mount on a 400D? I think the mount on the lens is an FD, I've attached pictures so hopefully one of you shutter bugs can confirm its mount. http://s192.photobucket.com/albums/z202/Craka_photo/400mm%20lens/

f/5.6, and on an off-brand lens on a 400D?

Given that it's a MF lens, I doubt that you would have enough light to focus with.

Can anyone indicate whether they think the mount is an FD mount?

I know I can get a converter for around 60 bucks to suit FD to EF mount, and for that amount just for kicks I would like to see if it would work.
