This is apparently just one corner of the Canon "toybox" at the World Press Centre in Vancouver for the Winter Olympics. Mmmmmmm, sweet! :mrgreen:

The sporting world is full of white lens. Couldn't they lend me one of those nice 600mm jobs for a year or two? :D

So do you think they load up their stock for olympic games and then sell them as refurbs after the event?

Or box them all up and ship them to the next world sporting event?

It will be the latter....Chances are that all of that is CPS loan stock, that is what Canon Aust uses for big events. I would imagine you are looking at a large proportion of Canon Canda CPS and Canon USA CPS loan stock there
