Reviewing vapourware

Kens at it again...

Seriously, why would you post a "review" on a camera that you have not used? This one is even better...it has not been shipped, even dpreview mentions they play with pre-production samples when they post a "preview"

Ken has a reputation.......for exactly that sort of thing. He needs to spend more time with Barbie.

Methinks he would do well to learn grammar and the English language.

He is giving a PREVIEW and not a review and all of the information he has on the new model is freely available on the web. All he has done is correlate the new specs against his camera.

I still think he is a first class drongo

He says that to find out about performance to read his X100 review because it will be just the same. Most unlikely. Better sensor, better AF, better (and possibly usable) manual focus, better in low light.

Cameron, Can you point out for me (or quote from his article) where he calls it a review?

Try the page heading (the title in the browser tab)....he did have it as the page title, but it seems to have been edited since. He also has it listed as a "review" here
http://www.kenrockwell.com/fuji/index.htm

if you look at his XE-1 "review" it is pretty apparent that he has yet to play with that camera either...note the press release image, lack of sample images as well as overall wording "Shooting in JPG, the X-E1's colors should be far better than the LEICA M9"

I don't know how you can say such things Cameron. After all, he's the world's most respected instructor. We know this is so because he says so here.

He's most probably a decent chap but you need to take his stuff with a large grain-o-salt.
