Anyone Game?

So....there is only really one Monochrome camera available, a very pricey one...but sounds like some astro-photogs have successfully made their own....anyone game?

I was keen until I found this:

It appears that Nikon SLR sensors have their cover glass epoxied down...making it almost impossible to remove without killing the sensor...I also got through about 20 pages of the original forum post, and have a possible donor camera, but all to naught....maybe it is time to ebay a v. cheap Canon 350/400/1000D
