Lunar Eclipse from Glenbrook

Here are my photographs from the eclipse last night.

What I don't have in quality, I hope I have made up with presentation. 8)

It was a fun night but I kept thinking: "I wish I had a better long lens." My Bogen tripod was rock solid.

It would have been really nice to have a 400mm lens with the camera mounted on a tracking base to get a good sequence of photographs with the moon in the same spot in the frame.

Enjoy!

Andrew - what Trent said. Great idea with the animation sequence.
