Couldn't post this in the tutorial forum (no access), but I reckon these video tutorials on lighting techniques at the sportshooter.com website are quite educational - good to view if you haven't seen them before. (Warning: videos are quite large)

Yep.

You don't have access to the tutorials section because that's for the tutorials that we create.

In this case though, there's an important links section, and that's probably the most appropriate lcation for these, so I'll move this thread there.

Thank you for finding and posting them.

We should mention, this isnt just helpful to those who have strobes and soft boxes.. but also those who just have a SB800.. theres some bloody helpful information how to soften the sb800 flash for portraits using a deflector and bouncing it

Thanks again for the info and posting up the links!!

Thanks for these...

they are great and are just what I needed. A friend has built a studio at the back of his house and while I dont want to go that far, I am keen to experiment down this avenue...

cheers

I know there's just been a thread on deeplinking and I'll leave it up to others to debate, but for me, I wanted to watch these films again and again and didn't want to chew up my bandwidth (and be forced to use firefox to view them) so I found the URL of the individual films for this series in the HTML.

For those that want these on their HD perm, here are the links:
