I have upgraded mine today, and yes...it feels a lot firmer.

 LOL Matt! My pictures are coming out a bit soft, do you think I should upgrade to the firmer firmware? Or is it a hardware problem? :? :lol: :lol:

Take few homebrew and watch on the LCD, it'll be harder for you!

It really only solves a very minor inconvenience. Nothing major but it was an interesting excercise.
