I downloaded the Opanda.com viewer. You can see the total number of shutter releases among a lot of other information - most of which I do not understand.

This is a fantastic little piece of software! And it's comforting to realise I had 2000 less shutter actuations than I had previously estimated! I've only done about 9200 odd shots on my D70, which I shall name... Oh heck, it's too silly to name a camera.*


* No offence to people who name their cameras. ;)
