Re: Birds of a feather...Hi Zaff....it's a lovely bird shot with great composition....but let down by very harsh bokeh. That background is just hard and overpowering. I don't know what lens you were using, or what f/stop but it hasn't done the image any favours. Perhaps some judicious post processing to soften the bokeh might work?

Re: Birds of a feather...We have about 25 million of these noisy critters here in Coffs. Lori and Keet try their best to wake me up each morning. They are spectacular birds. I call them the juvenile delinquents of the bird family.

Re: Birds of a feather...Thank you for the kind comments. I took this photo with a Canon sx30 is. I think I was using a portrait setting as it is not an SLR and manual settings are not as easy. I'll work on it. Thanks.
