¡Que aproveche! (Chocolate con churros)El chocolate con churros or café con churros is undeniably a Spanish “desayuno” or breakfast. The origin of churros is hidden in history. Some suggest, possibly Asians, the churros came from China; while others trace them to an ancient Roman cookbook (Apicius 1st century AD).
In Madrid, the Chocolatería San Ginés (near Puerta del Sol and founded in 1894) is famous for its chocolate for churros and you normally have to wait in a long queue to get a table and then be served. I took this particular picture in a bar near where my sister lives and I can honestly say these were truly spectacular - best ever!. ¡Que aproveche! Enjoy!
Re: ¡Que aproveche! (Chocolate con churros)I've been to the Chocolatería San Ginés in Madrid on numerous occasions. Perfecto!!

Re: ¡Que aproveche! (Chocolate con churros)Thank you Ozi. Curiously, I never been inside Chocolateria San Gines. Each time I passed there was a long queue or it was not the right time to have chocolate with churros.
Re: ¡Que aproveche! (Chocolate con churros)Despite my limited Spanish, I love Spain.
