Embi, you should have counted down from 5th place, as we at the diner had to endure. ;)

Anyways, congrats on all the winners. Brad/Darb - as I understand you gave MHD your contact number 'just in case' you won. Well you came fifth place and MHD made a point of contacting you by phone to tell you. That was forum admin Nnnnsic you hung up on... be prepared to feel his wrath. :p

Heath - congratulations on winning a new D70s! You're so deserving of the win.

Glen picked up a 35 f/2 for his second placing, and I believe Beetleboy will be receiving a 1Gb CF card for 3rd.

Heath you have the daunting task of picking the next theme, and we all wait in anticipation! To all the winners, enjoy your wonderful prizes and be grateful of their donation by our one very generous forum patron. To all the entrants, well done - you stood up to the challenge and I respect you tremendously.

Thanks to everyone for setting up the competition and voting!

A very special thanks to patron Birddog who so generously donated the prizes. A 2 GB flash card is just what I need given my photographic technique of selecting burst mode and holding down the trigger in the hope of getting just one right! I should be able to get two good shots per card instead of my current one shot!

Congratulations to all winners....all very well deserved.

A big thank you again to Scott & Birdy for their efforts in pulling this comp together so well, a fantastic job (as always).

And, to everyone else that entered the comp - well done for giving it a go ! As we can all see, the standard that is constantly displayed is very high, so I hope we can learn from each others efforts and come back next time for some more fun & good times. The only losers from this challenge are those that did not participate :)

Heath - looking forward to hearing what the next challenge is about....

Congrats to all the winners... All 5 were great quality photos...

I've just been having a look thru the detailed voting and it's very interesting to see the level of polarisation in the voting...

Choose the next theme wisely Heath... :-)

nnnsic : apologies on the phone call, i had no idea it was you, was on the road and couldnt hear much it was mostly garbled and not clear, except i heard you going "who is this?" at me and i was like "you rang me whoever you are" ... have had a few prank calls lately so just figured it was a wrong number and hung up. No offence intended :)
