This week I went to the Gold Coast for a few days where I was able to take this picture. The day was overcast, there was some wind and the subjects were in no mood to show their acrobatic skills.

After selling my copy last year, I just had to pick up a copy of the Fuji 35mm F1.4. It is the most superb portrait lens. Here's a couple of grandsons from yesterday, handheld, early evening, SOOC.

I took this photo 12 years ago. I just received a lens I bought from an associate of dSLrusers.com that had a camera business in the ill-fated Hong Kong (I hope he is alright); in fact, I bought my best lenses from him through this forum. I decided to test it at the Brisbane Botanical Gardens. I noticed how this Noisy Miner was staring at me a bit annoyed because I was shooting left, right and center and ignoring him, who was ready and willing to model for me and be immortalized by my camera.

I took it as we were leaving Raunheim along the Main on our way to Frankfurt, but it could be anywhere on any river where people relax and exercise.

While visiting the Vatican, we walked through one of the courtyards and I saw this tree in the morning light.

We saw the lunar eclipse here in Brisbane, but unfortunately there was also lots of clouds.

Spending a few days at Nelson Bay. Haven't visited this area since 1967. Birds at sunset paradise.
