This candid shot was taken at sunset

Great leading line! I really like the person in the shot too - it adds interest and scale! Is it my imagination or is the horizon a tad crooked?

Great use of positive, negative space as well as scale. Lovely.

Great image with yes, leading lines. And no Bindii, the horizon looks straight to me. Must be your contact lens....

It's the curvature of the earth that makes it look that way. (yes, it's a couple of degrees off)

Very nice composition and exposure, making for a great shot.

Really nice colours and a great slightly different take on the standard sunset shot. I was thinking about faking HDR for the shot but I think it's better the way you have it with the dark offsetting the sunset.
And, like Bindii, I think my contact lens might need adjusting as well. (me with contact lenses)

i would crop the bottom so the right railing hits meets the corner of the image
it would make it cleaner

WOW, love the colours and the leading lines, I would agree with Bindii and Gary here that the horizon is a few degrees off, but nothing that cant be fixed.

Interesting thought about a crop to get the other railing into the corner, it does appear to be the stronger of the two leading lines created by the path, but at the same time you may find that you have removed the other line from the corner, so maybe play around with it.

The leading lines make this a strong image and the glint of gold along the top of the railing and the man at the end makes it even stronger - nicely composed.

what a great example of leading lines, and the use of the natural light.
At first I didn't like the person in the shot but the more i look at it, the more it brings some scale to the image, i can't say how much i envy these shots!! love them

The reference point I was using to determine the whether the image was straight was the walkway...it is, afterall, supposed to be level ...but the top of the darker mass below the mountains could be considered a more dominant influence which I assume you are basing your "very level" comments on.
Here is the corrected image using the top of the darker mass as a basis and implementing Wendell's suggestion



I think it looks better

It does look terrific. I like how the the person at the end of the walkway is covering their eyes from the glare of the sun, which is very bright.
