				We celebrated my younger brother's 50th birthday last Saturday near Tamworth, NSW. The lounge room was particularly dark as there were no over head lights, but it's not a problem for the X-Trans sensor at ISO 6400. Sure it's a bit grainy, but better grainy than no shot at all. I like the kids' facial expressions as they look for lollies.

				Some how I think the b&w is an improvement on the colour one. I find the colours too vibrant for my liking. It is, regardless of the grain, a good record of a family gathering.

				I agree about the b&w. Also perhaps add a slight vignette to draw the eye in. I find the large white areas in the corners a bit of a distraction.

				B&W for me too. High ISO performance in most mid to upper level cameras these days is pretty good hey.
