I took the picture of this week almost two years ago in Vienna. Covid-19 put and end to scenes like this in cafes and public gatherings since last year and people all over the world resented not being able to gather together. Yet, it's ironic that most people are engaged in online communication rather than enjoying the presence of the people with them. I hope you like it.

I believe so. It's on my list, along with Budapest. When we can travel again. <sniff!>

There's an element of class - and culture - in some European cities that we don't quite seem to have here in Au.

Thank you for your comments. Is Vienna worth visiting? Definitely! In March 2019 we did a Danube and Rhine river cruise that started in Budapest and ended up in Amsterdam. We visited the cities along the Danube and Rhine in Hungary, Austria, Germany and Holland. Food, drink, traveling, side trips, entertainment and access to monuments was all included. Was it expensive? Yes, but because everything was included it ended up being good value for money. Other cruises charge you for the minimum they can provide, which appear a reasonable price and later add extra charges for everything else, which elevate to the final price tag of your holidays. We traveled with another couple, who have approached us to repeat the experience once this nuisance and deadly virus is brought under control and we are free and it is safe to travel.
