I must admit that carrying only a smartphone is very liberating in capturing daily family life, especially when said phone is water resistant. Here's my two granddaughters having fun on Coffs' North Wall beach last week, before the inevitable week of rain settled in. (Actually rain never settles in up here - it just never stops...)

It is a gorgeous candid photo. I love the colours, composition and the kids having fun. You must have a phone with a very good camera. As they say "the best camera is what you just happen to have with you at that critical moment."
