Secret location portrait

I have found an incredible spot, about 400m from our house in Coffs, where it's always in shade. (It is a flood mitigation area, so when it's teeming rain it's most probably not a great idea to walk through the area). Perfect spot for portraits. My 21 month old grand daughter was a willing subject last weekend.

Olympus 40-150 F2.8 pro. It's hard to take a bad shot with this lens.

Lovely poprtrait, and great use of DoF.

And what a gorgeous smile.

And it looks to be a great area to shoot in, although perhaps a caveat: well shaded areas can have a tendency to mess with AWB, and I suspect that this may have happened here. Looking at the skin tones, this looks just a little on the cool side to me; perhaps warm it up a tad?

I did try some adjustments in Camera raw filter, but ended up going back to SOOC, Olympus style. Looked OK on my iphone 12 screen but I suppose it's all a bit subjective. Might warm it up a tad as suggested.

Here's a related question for you: Most of my time now with this lockdown is taken up in my makeshift video studio in my small garage. I have some decent but cheap lights and am using mainly a green screen, which works well. I have a number of good video cameras including Canon eos R with attached Ninja V screen but even at 1080p the files sizes are enormous. I'm now doing most of my shooting with an iphone 12 pro max and it does remarkably well for what I need. However, I don't seem to be able to adjust the white balance while shooting 4k/25p video. It seems to come out ok in post but I wonder if there's a way to adjust WB in the iphone settings? I can't find one. Any thoughts?

I agree with Garys comments...needs a little extra yellow. Also, maybe crop some of the right hand side off....it may help to add impact to the shot. Nice shot!

Thanks Matt. Here's another re-visit to this photo with a bit of colour tweaking and a tad softer with added contrast:

Yes, the extra warmth does help, I believe. Although I might be inclined to go a nudge warmer, this is much better.
