Yet another portrait

Fuji 35mm F1.4 goodness this time. Doesn't say much for the photog as you can't take a bad photo with this classic lens...

It is a shame she is not looking at the camera, apart from that lovely colour and sharpness. You capture her sense of curiosity and puzzlement.

With all respect to Zafra, I think the distracted look works quite well here.

Lighting and WB are spot on. A great portrait.

I'm looking forward to seeing you at the local shopping centre in the lead up to Christmas, snapping happy Santa shots with little kiddies for mumzillas.

My brother-in-law was Santa Claus in the Campbelltown area for years. His beard was Gary-Stark-like and he was well paid. However he got sick of bad behaved, brattish, snotty nosed kids and gave it away recently. I might have to consider a career change if only I could grow a beard!

At the moment, mine is not; I needed to shave it off for medical reasons, and it's slowing returning to its usual scruffiness.
