Hi there,

I'm looking at buying a second hand camera from a guy in Sydney for getting converted to IR, however I was wondering if there was anyone who could help me out to firstly make sure the camera is actually in the good condition I've been told, and also to get it and post it over to Adelaide.

The camera i've found is a D300S in Belmore area. I'm still trying to find out from the guy whether he can deliver anywhere or not.

If there's anyone who is able to help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers
Tom

its a bit out of the way for me - i would not be particularly useful from a inspection point of view since I have never bought a secondhand body let alone used a D300

what kinda money are they asking for?

$1,800 for D300s, with 16-85, SB600, MB10, Light meter, 8gb CF card.

Really only interested in the camera body and lens - the rest not so much.

That 16-85 is a good lens for IR in my experience......I may be swayed into buying that MB-D10 off you if you want to lose it if you buy that kit. Unfortunately it is a bit too far out of my way, esp considering my non-driving status.
