Newer members often state that they think their question is too basic, or stupid, or whatever, to be posted. Nothing could be further further from the truth in any section at DSLRUsers.com, but especially here. Don't feel intimidated. The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked. pixspot gallery

Hi,

I'd like to start putting some of my pics on pixspot. Should I resize them down to any particular size ?

What's a good recommended size ?

I try to keep the largest edge about 800 pixels and the image size ~100-120kb. That way it fits on almost all screens without scrolling and doesn't take too long for people with dial up to download.

I'm similar to John. I go for 1000 pixels on longest side and aim for a file size under 200K. Need to be mindful that some (unfortunate) souls still have dialup!
