POTW 23 July 2013

Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

POTW 23 July 2013

Postby aim54x on Tue Jul 23, 2013 4:53 pm

I didn't forget, and I have to admit that I have been lurking a fair bit lately. Knowing that it was my turn on the roster coming up I have been keeping an eye out, and quite frankly the problem of selecting a winner is now quite the opposite of what it used to be, there simply are not that many choices. I have dug deep this week to find something that hasn't already won and something I thought was deserving of being the POTW.

Congrats Matt K for a back to back award....I love the lines, reflections and that glow

Sydney LIfe comp passes me by this year. They received 2000 entries and mine didn't make the final cut. Judges must all carry white canes.   :D :D :D :D :D
I'll try again next year.

Matt

I know you'll disagree with me, but I'd like this rotated clockwise to be straigther. For me the angles detract from what is an otherwise fine image.
