POTW 20-10-2013

Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. POTW 20-10-2013

Postby Matt. K on Tue Oct 29, 2013 12:41 pm

I have chosen this image by Murray Foote for its clean, clinical composition....and because it is a monumental landscape that will never age. It is technically excellent and would not be out of place in an Ansel Adams exhibition. By choosing this I had to discount some other excellent images such as those recently posted by Big Gerry and Ozimax.

Superb image, congrats on POTW. And yes Matt, the first thing I thought was Ansel Adams. Excellent.

Impressive how you have conveyed how majestic it would be to be there, hard to do with a landscape like that.
