DIY upgrade hdd of your Epson P2000

For member who has the Epson P2000 and would like to upgrade it to the larger capacity of storage:

For some reason I thought it was just a simple matter of opening the case and pulling out the harddrive. After reading the PDF, it looks more complicated than I thought.

Yes, it's due to the complexity of removing the Hdd from the original built, the hdd is not in the simple position to remove quickly without remove all other cables, screws, etc.....

Fantastic find Birdy - I'm saving the PDF. Now all I need is a P2000 to upgrade

It's damm cheap than upgrade mine to the Epson P4000.
The only big difference in between the P2000 and P4000 is 40Gb on the P2000 and 80Gb on the P4000, apart from this nothing else are important.

40GB always seemed a little too small but now armed with this information I am going to keep my eyes peeled for the P-2000 (bigger screen than P-4000 too?)

can you source the kind of 100GB HDD they are using Birdie?

would you recommend this kind of HDD upgrade to be done by an electrician/computer tech guy rather than a mere mortal?
