 Hi all,
My name is David and I've been a lurker for quite a while now so I thought I'd introduce myself. I have a Canon Three Fidy with kit lens, 28-105, 75-300 and 100/2.8 Macro. Also a 580EX.
I am into all sorts of photography but love wildlife and Macro (especially in fish tanks)
A page with some pics from a recent trip to Kangaroo Island in South Australia: http://users.tpg.com.au/viviers/KI/ki.html Also a big thanks to everyone who posts solutions and advice on this board - I've learned heaps already!

Mick, Just Do It! . You've got the perfect set up - a camera, a van and a cup of tea to slurp on while taking in the view.

It's definitely on the cards Daniel. Off to Lithgow for the weekend to try to get a few shots at Iron Fest. Have a good weekend all.
 Cheers, Mick

 Welcome David!
I just had a look at your pics....the seals.....Nice work! Can I recommend that when you get 15 shots of seals that are similar then just post the best 2. They are the only ones you want. Those 2 then will have more impact for viewers. Posting large numbers of very similar images weakens your portfolio. Looking forward to seeing your future work.
 Regards
 Matt. K

 Thanks Matt.
I apprecite the advice. I took about 1200 pics over the 2 day tour and that page was more to work out which one was best I was picking one to frame as a gift for a friend and wanted some advice from other friends.
Hopefully someday I'll get a portfolio set up Thhanks again
