It is a good questions and one in hindsight (perhaps) should of been addressed before the challenge started so everyone creating them could all be aware. Given that there hasn't been any guidelines I guess its up to the individuals interpretation.

It would be a good discussion in general, not just relating to tryptichs. For example, when assessing any image (voting in a comp or just perusing images in general), do you add weight to technical achievement or artistic impact? Can someone remember to start a thread on this next week (don't rely on me to do it as I may suddenly become unavailable) PRegards, Patrick
Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935.

It’s not hard for anyone to google the meaning of, and the application of the word triptych.
In any endeavour, research is very important and can make the difference between success and failure.

I must admit that having to work in the photographic field and to listen to client briefs, makes one look and listen more carefully.

Don't worry Kris you aren't the only one who is impatient Just the first to voice it It's like Christmas when a competition winner is announced, such fun. There were some absolutely fantastic images in there!

I think that makes me the most impatient. bwhinnen wrote:It's like Christmas when a competition winner is announced, such fun. There were some absolutely fantastic images in there!
I know! I think it's very unlikely that I'll win given all the other fantastic entries, but I can't wait to see who does!! Cheers,

I know what you mean there. It's a shame we can't comment on the entries yet, so much I want to say about a few of them in there

I'll post my invisible cattle prod that I don't use anymore to you, just pm me your invisible address so the invisible Australia post can act like the visible one and get it to you sometime before you become invisible.Last edited by Nnnnsic on Tue Jun 05, 2007 7:29 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Scott, see what happens when you take too long to post the challenge results. Silliness ensues. Cheers,

 Congrats B-Man!!
Now that you've accomplished what you said you wanted to do (win a challenge), hopefully you're not going to sit back on your photography.
ps: Think of the other (more) brilliant shots you could have achieved with a proper camera...!! hehehe *wile_e ducks for cover after that ps statement*
